The III International EAVI Conference: “Citizens’ Participations to Public Life through the Media” has opened the inscription for all the people who are interested to attend.
The EAVI Conference will be developed at the Spanish Senate, Madrid, with a limited seating capacity and free entrance after achievement of the appropriate accreditation. The Conference will be carried out on November 25th and 26th, 2009.

The Conference will take place in the context of the forthcoming EU presidency in charge of Spain and the transposition of the new European Directive into Spanish legislation. The aim of the Conference is to promote awareness, discussion and participation of institutional stakeholders in the development, promotion and development of initiatives associated with active citizenship and Media Literacy.
The Conference’s organizers are the European Association for Viewers Interests (EAVI) supported by the European Commission (CE), the Spanish Senate, Mentor Association and the Gabinete de Comunicación y Educación of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
